Overview
Organizations can enroll students three ways: individually, in batch via enrollment forms, or by accepting a teacher's invitation.
Individual enrollment
Open Students
From the admin dashboard, go to Students → Add student.
Pick "Create profile" or "Invite by email"
- Create profile — for younger students or anyone who shouldn't sign in themselves.
- Invite by email — for students who'll create their own account.
Assign to a program / class
Optional but recommended.
Save
Bulk enrollment via enrollment forms
Open Enrollment Forms
Students → Enrollment forms → New form.
Configure
- Pick the program / class new students will join.
- Pick which fields parents fill in (name, email, current Juz, etc.).
- Set capacity if you want to cap submissions.
Publish
You'll get a public URL.
Review submissions
Approve, reject, or edit each submission. Approved ones become students automatically.
Parent linking
Each student has a parent key — a 12-character code parents use to link their account. Share it with parents at enrollment time. They sign up as a parent and enter the key. See Registration.
Moving and removing students
- Move — change a student's program / class. See Student Transfers.
- Remove — pull a student out of the organization. Their account remains; they can be re-added later or moved to another organization.
Best practices
- Use enrollment forms for any cohort larger than ~5 students. Saves a lot of time.
- Don't create duplicate accounts. Search by name + email before adding.
- Set a parent key sharing process at intake (e.g., printed in a welcome letter).
