Overview
The parent dashboard gives you a window into your child's Quranic learning — daily records, progress charts, attendance, and homework — without needing to ask.
Getting set up
You need three things:
- A parent account — create one via the parent sign-up flow.
- Your child's parent key — a 12-character code from their teacher or settings.
- Your child's full name (used for verification when linking).
Linking a child
Click "Add Child"
From the parent dashboard.
Enter the parent key and child name
Wait for confirmation
The link request goes to either the student or their teacher. Once approved, the child appears in your dashboard.
Multiple children
You can link more than one child to the same parent account. Use the child switcher at the top of the dashboard to swap between them.
What you can see
- Daily records — what your child memorized or revised, and any teacher notes.
- Progress charts — pace, revision coverage, mistake density.
- Attendance — how consistently your child is logging.
- Homework — open assignments and their status.
What you cannot do
- Edit your child's records.
- See other students.
- Change account settings other than your own.
Notifications
From Settings → Notifications, you can opt in to:
- A weekly summary email.
- Alerts when a teacher leaves feedback on your child's record.
- Reminders if your child hasn't logged a record in several days.
Troubleshooting
I don't have the parent key
Ask your child's teacher. Every student has one, even if it hasn't been shared yet.
My link request was rejected
Reach out to your child's teacher to confirm name and parent key, then re-submit.
I want to unlink a child
From the dashboard, open the child's profile and click Unlink. You can re-link later with the same parent key.
