Overview

The student dashboard is your daily home base. Everything you need to log progress, review what you've done, and watch your trends is one click away.

Tabs at a glance

  • Records — log new sessions and see your most recent ones.
  • Lessons — current lesson plans assigned to you (if your teacher uses them).
  • Memorization — your full Hifz history.
  • Revision — your full Murāja'ah history.
  • Homework — assignments and their status.
  • Analysis — charts and trends.
  • Settings — preferences and dashboard customization.

Adding a record (quick flow)

  1. Open the Records tab.
  2. Click + Add Record.
  3. Pick a record type — Memorization, Revision, or Attached.
  4. Fill in the relevant fields (Juz, surah, ayah range, mistakes, notes).
  5. Click Save.

For a full walkthrough see Adding Daily Records.

Reading your progress

The Memorization and Revision tabs show your full historical records. You can:

  • Filter by date range, Juz, or surah.
  • Sort by date, ayah count, or mistake count.
  • Export to PDF or CSV.
  • Edit a recent record if you made a typo.

Customizing your dashboard

From Settings → Dashboard, you can:

  • Show or hide tabs you don't use.
  • Change the order of tabs.
  • Switch between compact and comfortable density.
🌙
Light or dark. Use the theme toggle in the top bar for night-friendly reading.

Connecting with a teacher

If you're a self-directed student who later joins a teacher, you have two options:

  • Accept a connection request from your teacher.
  • Share your parent / connection key from Settings → Account with your teacher.

Common questions

Can I track without a teacher?

Yes. Self-directed students have full access to records and analytics. A teacher only adds an extra reviewer.

How do I share progress with a parent?

Share your parent key from Settings → Account. Your parent uses this to link their parent account to yours.

My dashboard feels cluttered

Hide tabs you don't use from Settings → Dashboard. You can always re-enable them later.
