Overview
Capacity controls let you cap how many students fit into a program or class. They're optional — you can always leave them blank — but useful when running waitlists or scheduling teachers.
Program capacity
Set on the program. Once reached:
- Enrollment forms tied to the program show a "full" message.
- Admins can still manually enroll past the cap (with a warning).
Class capacity
Set on the class. Once reached:
- The class no longer appears in dropdowns when assigning students.
- Admins can override.
Capacity vs. enrollment
Capacity is the cap. Enrollment is the current count of active students. The dashboard shows both side-by-side ("18 / 20").
Best practices
- Set capacity slightly below your hard limit — it gives you room for last-minute additions.
- Review capacity at the start of every term.
- If your enrollment forms feel under-used, double-check capacity isn't accidentally set to zero.
