Overview
Enrollment forms let you onboard several students at once via a public link. Use them for new term intake, summer programs, or any time you need to collect many students' details quickly.
When to use an enrollment form
- You're starting a new class or term.
- You're running a workshop, camp, or short program.
- You want parents to fill in their child's details rather than entering them yourself.
Creating an enrollment form
Open "Enrollment Forms"
From the teacher dashboard, click Enrollment Forms → New form.
Configure the form
Pick:
- A name (e.g. "Summer 2026 Hifz Camp Intake").
- The class the students will be added to (optional).
- Which fields to collect (name, age, current Juz, parent contact, etc.).
- An optional capacity to cap submissions.
Customize the welcome page
Add a friendly intro and your organization's logo (if applicable).
Publish
You'll get a public URL you can share with parents.
Reviewing submissions
Submissions land in a queue. From there you can:
- Approve a submission to create the student account and add them to the class.
- Reject with an optional note.
- Edit any field before approving (e.g., correct a typo).
Closing or pausing a form
From the form's settings, you can:
- Pause — the URL stops accepting new submissions but stays live for review.
- Close — the URL returns a polite "closed" message.
Best practices
- Capacity helps. Set a sensible cap to avoid being overwhelmed.
- Required fields are your friend. Mark what you really need so submissions arrive complete.
- Add a deadline in the welcome page. Gentle social pressure works.
Org-wide enrollment. Organizations can also publish org-level enrollment forms — see Adding Students.
