Overview
The teacher dashboard is built around your roster. Most actions you take during a teaching day — recording sessions, reviewing analysis, updating lessons — start from here.
Dashboard layout
- Roster panel — every student you teach, with quick status indicators.
- Activity feed — recent records, pending reviews, and notes.
- Quick actions — record a session, add a student, open analysis.
Status indicators on the roster
| Indicator | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Green dot | Logged a record in the last 24 hours. |
| Yellow dot | 1–3 days without a record. |
| Red dot | 4+ days without a record. |
| "⚠️ Mistakes" | Recent records show a noticeable spike in mistakes. |
Filtering and grouping
The roster supports:
- Filtering by class, program, or status.
- Sorting by name, last activity, or mistake density.
- Searching by name, parent name, or ID.
Adding or recording on a student
- Click a student to open their profile, where you can record sessions and view analysis.
- Right-click (or use the menu) for shortcuts: record a session, leave a note, mark attendance.
Working with classes
If your organization uses classes, you can switch the roster to a class view where each row is a student in that class. From here you can:
- Record progress for the whole class in one place.
- Mark attendance.
- Compare students against each other on key metrics.
Customizing your dashboard
From Settings → Dashboard, you can:
- Hide columns you don't use (e.g., parent contact, last note).
- Switch between compact and comfortable density.
- Pick which classes appear in the default view.
